The Arab Republic of Egypt, is located in the north east of Africa. Egypt borders Libya to west, Sudan to the south, the Gaza Strip and Israel to the east. The northern coast borders the Mediterranean Sea and the eastern coast borders the Red Sea.

Language:
Arabic is the official language. English and French are widely spoken

Religion:
Over 80 % of the population belongs to the Islam, the rest are Christians. All types of Christianity are represented, especially the Coptic Christian Church.

Climate:
At the Nile Delta and the coast of the Mediterranean Sea you will find a Mediterranean climate. This climate is in a contrast to the rest of the country, the desert. Here you will find hot and dry summers with and sweet winters.
